Acupuncture involves the gentle placement of very fine needles at specific points on the body. These points help regulate lymphatic circulation, calm the nervous system, and activate the body’s natural healing processes.
Most patients experience little to no discomfort. The needles are extremely thin, and many patients feel relaxed during treatment.
Most acupuncture sessions last about 60 minutes, but the initial session can take about 75 to 90 minutes including the first full history intake and consultation.
The number of treatments varies depending on the condition and how long it has been present. Some patients notice improvement within a few sessions, while others benefit from a series of treatments over some more time. In average, we recommend about 6-8 weekly or consistent sessions in the beginning phase, then we start spacing out the sessions as we go into the maintenance & preventive phase (once every month ~ three months)
